| 4th PRAVASI ORIYA DIVAS WILL BE HELD ON DEC 23, 2007 |
- For the souvenir of the 4th Pravasi Utkaliya Diwas, articles are invited on endeavours of
NROs in developing Orissa, no matter how small it may be [big ones get publicity in any
case].
- NROFC is happy to announce that the Ruchi Prativa Foundation
have decided to institute an international award by style of Prabasi Prative Samman to
honour an NRO of outstanding achievements which have enhanced the image of Orissa in the
World. The award would be given annually at the Prabasi Utkaliya Divas.
The award carries a citation, engraved in a copper/silver plaque, a trophy and a shawl.
NROFC is free to makes rules for selecting an eminent overseas Oriya for this award.
- NROFC invites nominations from associations or their
regional/provincial chapters, from all over the world, with reasons why they recommend the person for the award,
giving details of how he/she has helped in creating a better image of Oriyas and Orissa in the world map.
- Membership donation to NROFC is $25 for NROs.
