| 5th PRAVASI ORIYA DIVAS WILL BE HELD ON DEC 21, 2008 |

The Oriya Prabasi Diwas is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of December every year. This year the Fifth Oriya Prabasi Diwas will be celebrated on 21st of December, 2008.
- We request all prabasi Oriyas (members of the Oriya Diaspora) to join us in the celebration at a venue in Bhubaneswar, the venue will be announced in first week of December, 2008. Life members, that is, persons who have already contributed Rs. 1,000 or $100 USD in the past need not pay any registration fees, though they may contribute any amount in cash or kind as donation or sponsor an event or two in the Prabasi Oriya Diwas celebration. Other NROs will have to contribute necessary fees to become member.
- Spouses of members need not register as separate members for the purpose of participating in the celebrations, if they wish to be independent members of NROFC they have to contribute as any other member does.
